IELTS Grammar: Difference between “Between” and “Among”

A lots of students ask me about the difference between "between" and "among/amongst". You may have noticed that I said students ask me about the difference between the words “between” and “among/amongst.” Many people believe “between” should be used for choices involving two items and “among” for choices that involve more than two items. That can get you to the right answer some of the time, but this is not completely accurate.

Change Notification in Australia from 05 April IELTS test

Dear IELTS Test Candidate,

This notification is to inform you that there will be a change to the order in which IELTS test components are administered from Saturday 5 April 2014.

The IELTS tests will be taken in the following order:

  1. Writing
  2. Reading
  3. Listening

This change will only affect IELTS candidates in Australia from 5th April 2014 until further notice.

IELTS Tests Applications for 2014

For all prospective IELTS candidates in Melbourne, Australia:

Any candidate who wishes to take the IELTS test in RMIT University, the applications now MUST made online. Any candidate who wishes to take the IELTS test in Deakin University in 2014, the applications can now be made online.

You will need:

  • - A scanned copy of your valid passport or national identity card
  • - A credit card for payment
